PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify manufacturing processes for a packing paper band and to improve the tensile strength for the band. SOLUTION: Reinforcing string members 16 are arranged along the sides in the longitudinal direction of a paper-made core member 14 formed in a belt- like shape in a specified width. Then, these members are wrapped up as a unit with a specified outer packaging paper material 18, and the paper band 12 is made up by pressing the wrapped-up members entirely with an adhesive applied at least to the inner surface of the outer packaging paper material.
