PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm rest through structure solving a problem that the number of parts is much and a cost is high since an exclusive lock member is provided in order to lock a rid to a through frame in a conventional arm rest through structure. SOLUTION: In the arm rest through structure of a rear seat back, a rid 3 is vertically movably mounted in a through opening 1 by a slight height. Whereas, an urging means 4 for upwardly urging the rid 3 to a frame 2. An engagement claw 25 for non-releasably engaging an upper end 32 of the rid 3 when the rid 3 is upwardly moved in the close state and capable of releasing an engagement of the upper end 32 of the rid 3 in the state that the rid 3 is downwardly moved is provided on an upper side portion 22 of the frame. Thereby, an exclusive lock member is not required in order to engage the rid 3 with the frame 2.
