PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a flap folding plate 56 to support boxes 1 of various sizes without adjusting a fulcrum position or the like of the plate 56. SOLUTION: A pair of L-shaped plates 14, 16 are supported by frames 10, 11 on both sides via a first rod 12. The L-shaped plates have an upper end coupled to a cylinder 18 and rotate with the first rod as the center. A second rod 24 is provided adjacent to the first rod, wherein gears 26, 28 fixed to the second rod engage with gears 20, 22 fitted over the first rod so that when the cylinder 18 activates, the second rod rotates. The rotation of the second rod is transmitted to third and fourth rods 32 via a pulley. A gear 46 of the fourth rod engages with a gear 50 of a fifth rod 48 to which the flap folding plate 56 is attached. When activation of the cylinder 18 causes the L-shaped plates to swing, the fifth rod revolves to cause the flap folding plate to rotate, and also the fifth rod rotates with the first rod as the center.
