PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material for a high density optical recording medium (DVD-R) wherein a record can be regenerated by a short wavelength laser beam, for example, at 620-690 nm, a solubility in an organic solvent is high, and its light fastness and storage stability are excellent while a method for playing back an information record wherein the record is regenerated by the laser beam of 620-690 nm is provided. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium of which the recording layer contains a coloring matter mixture of porphyrazine coloring matter given by formula (I) and cyanine coloring matter given by formula (II), and the information record regenerating method wherein the record is regenerated by the laser beam of 620-690 nm, are provided. |
