PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal composite with high dehumidifying and deodorizing property, far-infrared effect and good applicability. SOLUTION: The composite consists of a granular ceramics material and a granular charcoal material. The ceramics material formed through a sintering process contains at least silicon, magnesium and aluminum. The charcoal material is a mixture of a bamboo charcoal and a bincho charcoal. The ceramics is manufactured by the process wherein powdery inorganic material mainly containing silica is sintered and dissolved in an acidic aqeous solution, then is neutralized and dried. The ceramic slurry preferably is dried after the aging process under a prescribed temperature and time. The ceramic material is mixed with a resin and is molded into the granule. |
