摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize an unfolding profile of an air bag according to a collisional situation. SOLUTION: A first combustion chamber and a second combustion chamber different in a combustion characteristic are arranged in an inflator, and ignition order of these combustion chambers is controlled by a signal from an acceleration sensor. Actually, the collisional situation is judged in a Step S2. The second combustion chamber having a large combustion characteristic is ignited first at high speed collision time (Step S3), and then, the first combustion chamber having a small combustion characteristic is ignited (Step 54). While, the first combustion chamber is ignited first at medium-low speed collision time (Step S5), and then, the second combustion chamber is ignited (Step S6).</p>
