<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread improving both of design property and visual confirmation property because there is a danger that a person whose eyesight is bad due to a cataract and amblyopia and even an ordinary person miss their footing on the stairs if illumination in a stair room is low and the visual confirmation property is improved, but the design of the tread is adversely affected if illumination is changed extremely, although there is conspicuous tread changing illumination of a front end part of the tread. SOLUTION: A visual confirmation part having different illumination is provided in the front end part of the tread, and a boundary line between a part other than the visual confirmation part on an upper face of the tread and the visual confirmation part is a curved line or a folding line to realize the tread having high visual confirmation property, even if there is a comparatively small difference in illumination. Moreover, the tread design is not affected, and the step plate having excellent design property can be realized.</p> |
