PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high power irrespective of the lowering of the calorific value of a gas and stoppage of the supply of the gas whose calorific value varies within a low level range. SOLUTION: A small diameter sleeve 3 for forming a vent path is disposed in a large diameter sleeve 2 which is located on a wall surface of a combustion chamber 1, being supported by a stay 4. A burner gun 5 for ejecting a town gas (13A) is provided to a portion corresponding to the axial core of the cylinder of the sleeve 3. A primary swirler 7 for causing a swirling flow for stabilizing flames is disposed at the tip of the burner gun 5. Ten burner nozzles 8 for ejecting digestion gas are dispersedly provided around the swirler 7. There is also provided an air supply path R for supplying combustion air to the burner gun 5 and the burner nozzles 8. Thus irrespective of the variation of the calorific value of the digestion gas, combustion is performed with a stable output.
