PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-or-the-like removing device wherein a veneer is dried by hot air guided into a veneer drier and resin or the like is removed before exhaust hot air containing the resin or the like emitted from the veneer at the time of drying is discharged into the atmosphere. SOLUTION: A resin-or-the-like adhering body 33 interposed in an exhaust hot air passage so as to cause the resin or the like to adhere and a cooling medium supply device 36 for supplying a cooling medium to the adhering body 33 are provided in an exhaust side from an upper ventilation passage 5 of the veneer drier 1. The veneer 10 is dried by the hot air guided into the veneer drier 1. The exhaust hot air containing the resin or the like emitted from the veneer 10 at the time of drying is made to pass through the adhering body 33 supplied with the cooling medium from the cooling medium supply device 36 so as to remove the resin or the like as well as the cooling medium before being discharged into the atmosphere.
