PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a structure for repairing roof overlapping and tiling a metallic plate roof material newly by utilizing a fixing device such as an existing hook bolt without removing a deteriorated corrugated slate plate roof material. SOLUTION: The hook bolt 2 fixing the existing corrugated slate plate roof material 1 on a purlin 3 and a first nut 9 for tightening and fixing are provided with a hatlike fitting part 11 which has a storage space S storing a screw part 5 of the hook bolt and the first nut and a lower opening 13 and has several vertical slits 14 and in which an engaging part 15 engaging with the screw part is formed inside the storage space and a sword point part 12 erected from a top face of the fitting part. A clamp device 10 provided with a screw part screw-fitted in a second nut 18 tightening the storage space and the lower opening and a screw part provided in the top point part to fix a mountain part of a new roof member 20 on an outer face is fixed by the second nut, and the new roof member is fixed on it by tightening a screw.
