PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a steel frame column which dispenses with welding on a work site, ensures firm connection with simple work, and can make different outer diameters of columns on upper and lower floors. SOLUTION: A lower end of an upper floor column 1 composed of angular steel pipe columns is fitted to an upper end of a lower floor column 2, and the fitting part between the upper and lower floor columns 1, 2 are connected by a shaft-like fastening tool 5. A diameter of the lower floor column 2 is made larger than that of the upper floor column 1. A lower end of the upper floor column 1 fitted to the lower floor column 2 is made larger in its thickness and outer diameter than a plain pipe part 1a being a general part.
