PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting block being undeformable even if the block is used for retaining earth, having strength usable even in a steep place of a flow, omitting hole opening work to the planting block at a job site requring time and labor and allowing to cultivate plants without damaging roots of the plants. SOLUTION: This bar-shaped planting block including a fiber nonwoven mat is featured by having a planting hole for allowing to cultivate plants in a block outside surface.
