PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding-type paddy field working machine capable of easily and smoothly performing the steering of a machine body and a change of direction. SOLUTION: In the riding-type paddy field working machine provided with a an automatic operation mechanism for turning, speed-changed power is transferred to steerable right end left front wheels 1 and unsteerable right end left rear wheels 2. The wheels 2, each of which is fitted with a side clutch 38, are driven through the medium of a differential gear 37 capable of performing differential locking. The automatic operation mechanism is interlocked with the steering of the wheels 1 beyond a preset angle so as to put the gear 37 in a differential-lock state and disengage only the side clutch 38 on the inner side of the turning.
