PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper or copper alloy pipe joint capable of maintaining corrosion resistance such as pitting resistance and erosion resistance for a long time independent of temperature and moisture of the using environment. SOLUTION: An amorphous ceramics film is formed on the surface of a copper or copper alloy pipe joint. For example, a solution of a metal alkoxide essentially consisting of SiO2, ZrO2, SiO2-ZrO2, Al2O3, TiO2 or the like is filled in the inside of the alloy pipe joint, and then the solution is discharged, dryed and heated to form an amorphous ceramics film on the inner surface. The thickness of the film is 0.1 to 100μm.
