The machining center has a spindle 31, to which the long tool removably is fitted, and a jig 32 for holding the work W. The robot carries the work from the carry-in part to the jig, carries the processed work from the jig to the carry-out part, carries the long tool into and out of the tool base, and fits and removes the long tool to/from the spindle.
