摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method which enables efficient removal of fluorine in water, and also to provide a water treatment equipment for the method. SOLUTION: This water treatment method involves bringing a treating agent selected from among crystallized calcite, phyllosilicates and tektosilicates into contact with water to be treated, to adsorb fluorine in the water on the treating agent and to reduce the fluorine content of the water. The phyllosilicate used is selected from among sericite, pyrophillite and kaolinite, and the tektosilicate used is selected from among artificial zeolite and clinozeolite. This equipment is provided with plural water treatment sections 11 and 12 each used for bringing such a treating agent into contact with water to be treated and adsorbing fluorine in the water on the treating agent; and control systems 1, 8 and 9 each used for controlling water supply so that the water can be transferred from one of the water treatment sections 11 and 12, which section has low fluorine adsorption capability, to the other section having high fluorine adsorption capability.
