RUBBER PLUG AND COATING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber plug capable of easily plugging the opening of a work and a coating method using the rubber plug. SOLUTION: The rubber plug 1B is made of a conical shaped silicone rubber molding and has a tip end surface 11 having small outside diameter and a base end surface 12 having large outside diameter. A 1st recessed part 21 recessed largely toward the base end surface 12 is formed in the side of the tip end surface 11 and a 2nd recessed part 22 largely recessed toward the tip end surface 11 is formed in the side of the base end surface 12. The 1st recessed part 21 and the 2nd recessed part 22 are formed to have different depths and the dimension D2 of the depth of the 2nd recessed part 22 is designed to be >=1/3 of the dimension H of the height of the rubber plug.
