PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle and a steam generator using the nozzle by which the flying of the bubbles formed on the surface of boiling water is surely prevented even when a great number of bubbles are formed. SOLUTION: The steam formed in the steam generator 30 is passed through a steam duct 4 and then through the inside of the cavity 36 of the nozzle 20 and discharged outside from a discharge face formed on one end of the cavity 36. In this case, since a first U-groove 32 with one end communicating with the cavity 36 and the other end extended almost vertically downward from the cavity 36 is formed in the discharge face 38, the bubbles flow into the first U-groove 32 from the cavity 36 even if a great number of bubbles are formed in the cavity 36 and are quickly evaporated in the first U-groove 32 kept at a high temperature.
