PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the grain sizes of pulverized goods by a setting device of a pulverization condition controller without changing the hardware constitution, such as a height of a dam ring, of a vertical pulverizing machine 1. SOLUTION: The pulverizing layer thickness on a turntable of the vertical pulverizing machine is changed without changing the height of the dam ring by controlling the number of revolutions of the table, thereby controlling the centrifugal force acting on the raw materials on the turntable and the optimum pulverizing pressure corresponding to the number of revolutions of the table and the number of revolutions of the separator are automatically set by a predetermined constant, by which the grain size of the pulverized goods is easily controlled.
