PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated protective pipe made of a fiber-reinforced plastic for a hardware installed outside in which wind cutting sound and decrease in durability resulted from vibration caused by whirlspool are suppressed. SOLUTION: The protective pipe made of a fiber-reinforced plastic for a hardware installed outside characterized by having a fiber-reinforced plastic rib spirally integrally molded on the outer wall of a fiber-reinforced plastic pipe body is provided. The fiber-reinforced plastic rib has approximately a semi-elliptical shape as the crosssectional shape cut vertically along the right angles direction to the longer direction and is spirally integrally molded on the outer wall part of the above described fiber-reinforced plastic pipe body.
