PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus which can enhance an efficiency for discharging bubbles remaining in an ink channel reaching a recording head from a sub tank and can decrease a generation frequency of printing failures. SOLUTION: A filter chamber 55 which forms a tangential part 54 towards an upper end part is arranged inside the sub tank 7 loaded to a carriage for receiving the replenishment of ink from an ink cartridge. Moreover, a filter member for eliminating foreign matter is set in a manner to cover the filter chamber. An ink lead-out port 48 is opened to the corner part 54 formed to the upper part in the filter chamber 55, which reaches the recording head from the sub tank 7. Bubbles remaining in the filter chamber 55 can be guided to the ink lead-out port 48 with the utilization of a floatation action thereof in this constitution. |
