PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crosslinked rubber product which is effective for preventing the generation of defects and cracks especially when the crosslinked rubber product of a large volume is produced. SOLUTION: In the method in which a crosslinked rubber product molding mold 1 a having a hollow sacrifice layer forming part 5 communicating with a cavity 3 on its split surface is used, uncrosslinked rubber 7 is packed in the cavity 3, and the rubber 7 is crosslinked to obtain the product. in advance of charging the rubber 7, crosslinked rubber 6 molded in a shape corresponding to the part 5 is packed in the part, and then the packed rubber 6 is crosslinked.
