PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process to print at a higher speed. SOLUTION: When data are being set to a primary buffer 3024, if the data have the same type and the same attribute as those of plotting data of the primary buffer 3024 and delivered data can be stored in the primary buffer 3024, the plotting data delivered to the present DDI function is delivered to a compressibility function for each data type and set to the primary buffer 3024. Although a head address of the primary buffer 3024 is not changed, a terminal pointer showing a data part added to the present data in the primary buffer 3024 is updated. When retention of the data on the primary buffer 3024 finishes, printing commands are generated from the data of the primary buffer 3024.
