PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact automatic tray cleaning device capable of cleaning trays, efficiently performing drying work, etc., and reducing labor costs by sufficiently saving labor without specialized labor. SOLUTION: The automatic tray cleaning device is provided with a tray individual cutting-out means 13 to cut out piled-up trays 12 one by one, chain conveyer 11 to transfer the trays 12, upper-side fountain part 48, lower-side fountain part 49, and scatter preventing covers 50, 50a, 51 and 51a provided on the upstream side and downstream side of the transferring direction of the trays 12 to prevent water from scattering. The automatic tray cleaning device comprises a cleaning part 46 to clean the trays 12, drying part 54 to spray air toward the trays 12, guide roller 57 to prevent the trays 12 from sliding down from the chain conveyer 11, tray receiving base 14 to receive the trays 12, and tray height adjusting mechanism 59 to adjust the trays 12 in such a way that the trays 12 are located at a uniform height.
