PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footwear which can maintain the sole of a foot at a comfortable temperature by approximately matching a change in either season or temperature. SOLUTION: Selecting either an exothermic body 10 or a cooling body 11, a user can accommodate it in the accommodating part 7 of a sole body 4 which constitutes a sandal 1. The warming or cooling of the sole approximately matches the changes in season and temperature, this maintains the sole at a comfortable temperature and gives the user an aggreable feeling to wear. Furthermore, the sandal protects the accommodating position of either the exothermic body 10 or the cooling body 11 from shifting or projecting. If the user wants to wear it as an ordinary sandal, the user can achieve it by extracting either the thermic body 10 or the cool producing body 11 from the accommodating part 7.
