PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breeding vessel for beetle effective for preventing the eclosion insufficiency in the pupation of a larva on the bottom of the vessel. SOLUTION: An eclosion insufficiency preventing sheet 5 is placed to cover the bottom face of a bottom-closed vessel 8 for holding a breeding bed 6 and the curved part 8a extending from the bottom to the side wall. Larva is pupated on the bottom of the vessel 8 at a probability of about 50% and forms a puparium on the eclosion insufficiency preventing sheet 5 placed on the bottom. Since the sheet 5 has a rough surface, a fixing base is ensured in the eclosion from the puparium to enable normal eclosion, suppress the generation of eclosion insufficiency and give a healthy imago.
