MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CALCIUM SILICATE MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a calcium silicate molded body which is excellent in surface hardness and mechanical strength. SOLUTION: An aqueous slurry containing a calcium silicate hydrate is molded. Then, the surface of the molded article under a wet state is coated with a surface-treating agent containing an aqueous polyurethane or an aqueous urethane prepolymer, and dried, and thus, this calcium silicate molded body is manufactured.
