CORRECTION OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGE ARTIFACT USING INFORMATION BY NAVIGATOR ECHO

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for extracting and correcting a feature concerning the instability or the fluctuation of a magnet system in an MRI scanner. SOLUTION: Navigator echo data are read by this technique by utilizing a navigator pulse without a code or in a state where the influence of the phase code is reset. Navigator data are used for extracting the feature concerning the plurality kind of latent influence of the instability or the fluctuation of the magnet system, such as zero-order phase deviation, a first order (straight line) phase deviation, a bulk position deviation and an amplitude fluctuation. Then the influence of instability is used for correcting image data to be collected during an inspection.
