A fuel delivery system is provided for an internal combustion engine employs a plurality of fluid actuators for each fuel delivery assembly. Each of the plurality of fluid actuators receives fuel from a source of fuel and directs the fuel to a fuel delivery assembly. The fuel delivery assembly receives the fuel from the plurality of fluid actuators and delivers the fuel to a combustion chamber. The fluid actuators are under the control of a control system. The control system controls the operation of the fluid actuators to provide desired volumes of fuel at desired flow rates through a fuel delivery assembly to a combustion chamber.
