PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cell cultivation, a cell cultivation device and a recording medium recording a cell cultivation program, which are easily applicable to culture operations while keeping conditions suitable for cell cultivation. SOLUTION: This cell cultivation device 11 comprises first and second cultivation units 12a and 12b, a cell feeding unit 14 connected to the cultivation units through liquid pipes 13, a liquid feeding unit 15 and a waste liquid tank 16, a gas-exchanging unit 18 connected to the cultivation units through gas pipes 17 and a control unit. CCD(charge coupled device) cameras are set in each cultivation unit, and image data of cells adhered to the bottom of a first cultivation space 46a or a second cultivation space 46b are thereby outputted to the control unit. The control unit calculates an adhered cell concentration based on the image data, determines timings for performing culture medium replacement and subculture operation and outputs execution-instructing signals to each part of the cell cultivation device 11 for execution. |
