PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a blank 12, which is subjected to emboss processing for a sample package and other three-dimensional display article standing without using a support, from a sheetlike processing material 14, and the processing material. SOLUTION: A printer 16 for printing a graphic image on the processing material 14 and a processing machine 18 for the processing material 14 are provided. After the image is printed on the processing material 14 by the printer 16, the processing material 14 is advanced to the processing machine 18 and folds are applied to the processing material 14 under pressure herein by a creaser. Thereafter, the blank 12 is cut from the processing material 14 by a knife and an embosser is moved to a raster mold or a vector mold to apply a design to the processing material 14 by emboss processing. The blank 12 thus obtained is pulled out of the processing material to be assembled into the package or the three-dimensional display article standing without using a support. |
