<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of providing treated water with excellent water quality and increasing the treatment speed as compared with a conventional membrane separation method and to provide a filtration apparatus and method using the filter. SOLUTION: The filtration apparatus is an apparatus for filtering water 7 to be filtered in a treatment tank 2 and is provided with a a plurality of fibrous bodies 16 penetrating the wall faces of the treatment tank 2 and a bundling member 21 for bundling a plurality of the fibrous bodies 16 and one ends of a plurality of the fibrous bodies 16 are immersed in the water 7 to be filtered in the treatment tank 2 and the other ends are projected to outside of the treatment tank 2. In this case, the former ends of a plurality of the fibrous bodies 16 receive the water pressure from the object water 7 to be filtered and the latter ends of a plurality of the fibrous bodies 16 receive no water pressure from the water 7. Consequently, pressure difference is generated between the former and the latter ends of a plurality of the fibrous bodies 16. As a result, the water 7 to be treated passes the fibrous bodies 16 from the latter ends to the former ends through the bundled part to be filtered.</p> |
