PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire for a stent which enables smooth adaptation thereof to human tubular organ, highly resisting against bending by accomplishing easier length adjustment thereof to easily adapt itself to the size of a lesion site and having elastic recovery capacity so moderate as to fit a branch structure, and a stent having the same. SOLUTION: A zigzagged ring-like wire for a stent has top parts and valley parts and/or a zigzagged spiral wire for a stent wire 1-150 turns has top parts and valley parts. The wire for the stent is provided with a hook at one or more of the top pats and the hook and/or an eyelet at one or more of the valley parts.
