PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fishing line parallel winding mechanism for uniformly winding a fishing line around a spool in a reel for fishing. SOLUTION: This reel for fishing is obtained by protrusively installing whirl- stop protrusions 38 protruding from an outer peripheral surface in the radial direction for a driven gear 35 at one end of a rotating shaft 31 in which a traverse cam groove 31a is engraved and providing engaging mechanisms (31c and 36) at the other end.
