PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial spawning reef for broad-mantle squid effective for solving the defects of conventional artificial spawning reef and increasing the amount of spawn of the squid. SOLUTION: A number of thin and long spawning bases 20 such as rods usable as a substitute for the stalk of sea grass are erected on a base 10 to be settled on the sea bottom, etc. An imitation spawn 30 of broad-mantle squid is attached to one or plural parts of the spawning bases 20 erected on the base.
