PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation required when a working travel passage is transferred during turning at a butt or when the necessity of backing the machine body arises during working travel. SOLUTION: This paddy working machine is composed by installing an operating tool 122 linked to a selector valve 128 for changing over the flow state of a hydraulic oil for a hydraulic cylinder 2 in a main speed changing lever 81 operated over a forward advancing operating region F and a backing operating region R so that a state in which a working implement 4 is lowered to a prescribed working height and position by operation of the operating tool 122 and a state in which the working implement 4 is lifted to a prescribed unworking height and position by the operation of the operating tool 122 can be produced in the paddy working machine equipped with the working implement 4 freely liftably and lowerably connected through a linking mechanism 3 lifting, lowering and shaking by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder 2 to the rear of a traveling machine body 1.
