PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dust collecting filter by which a filter produced is light in weight, excellent in the low pressure loss, resistant to the thermal impact, hardly having strain remaining in the form of a molded body, and easy to be produced to have a large diameter and a long size, is made applicable to high temperature treatment to collect dust and nitrogen oxide removal simultaneously and is made possible to suppress resynthesis of dioxins. SOLUTION: The method for producing a dust collecting filter is a method carried out by producing a ceramic porous material by wet-molding a slurry containing an inorganic fiber, a ceramic powder, an inorganic binder, and an organic substance, drying the molded body, and firing the dried molded body and then immersing the ceramic porous material in an aqueous solution of a tungsten compound, drying the material, and firing the resulting material. The ceramic powder or the inorganic binder contains a titanium compound capable of producing titanium oxide after firing. |
