PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping device for a thermal head, capable of preferably and efficiently executing a wrapping process for the surface for forming a protection film, a protection film, or the like, in a thermal head production step so as to produce a high quality thermal head with a good productivity. SOLUTION: This device comprises a pallet for holding at least one thermal head, a conveying means for conveying the thermal head held by the pallet successively to a predetermined processing position, and wrapping means for pressuring a running wrapping material against the thermal head conveyed to the processing position, wherein two sets of the wrapping means are disposed facing with each other so that the pallet is moved by the conveying means in the arrangement direction of heat generating elements of the thermal head in a state that the wrapping materials with different coarseness are pressured against the thermal head.
