PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hot rolling channel which can be consistently manufactured in hot rolling, having high quality. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the hot rolling channel consists of a hot rolling step in which a W-shaped work intermediate material W1 having a curved web 1 and a flange 2 extended from both ends of the web is hot rolled through the use of rolling rolls and a forming step in which a U-shaped channel 5 is bent from the work intermediate material W1 through the use of a plurality pairs of forming rolls. In the forming step, a rough forming step using a first roll 711 coming into contact with a recessed face 11 of the web 1 of the work intermediate material W1 and a second roll 712 coming into contact with a central protrusion 121 of a projecting face 12 and having a gap with an end neighborhood 122 is done by hot rolling forming.
