CLEANING METHOD FOR PCBS- AND/OR DIOXINS-CONTAINING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently cleanable a polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)- and/or dioxins-containing medium by promoting the absorption of the PCBs and/or dioxins to plants. SOLUTION: The cleaning method for the PCBs- and/or dioxins-containing medium consists of adding a reducing agent to PCBs- and/or dioxins-containing media to cause the dechlorination or lowering of chlorination of the PCBs- and/or dioxins and further bringing the medium into contact with the plants.
