PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve a throughput for printing job data. SOLUTION: When it is judged that a page buffer memory in a RAM 1006 is running short, an image swap control part 1013 makes output image data of the page buffer memory unloaded into a hard disk 1003 within an image output stand-by time. Moreover, it is judged whether or not the output image data unloaded into the hard disk 1003 can be restored to the page buffer memory. The image data are not unloaded if the image data cannot be restored. The image data are unloaded if the image data can be restored. When the unloading completes and the page buffer memory is set free, output image data are generated and stored to the page buffer memory. When the storing the output image data to the page buffer memory completes, the output image data unloaded to the hard disk 1003 are restored to the page buffer memory.
