PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band sawing machine that can ensure low-cost and simple end machining on H-steel, U-steel and L-steel for their vertical connection. SOLUTION: The vertical band sawing machine has a first cutting head 21 wherein a band saw blade 35 is vertically driven to cut a workpiece (for example, H-steel), and a second cutting head 22 wherein a band saw blade 35 is vertically driven to cut the workpiece. The in-feed direction of either band saw blade 35 to the workpiece is set vertical to that of the other band saw blade 35. A plane (travel plane) P where either band saw blade 35 travels is set making some 45 deg. in plan view to a travel plane Q of the other band saw blade 35.
