PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double head grinder capable of adequately correcting feed rate of grinding wheels on the basis of a differential value of an actual measured value and a desired reference value of a work thickness for grinding a work with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This double head grinder 1 has a sizing device 2 for correcting positions of the grinding wheels 17 and 18 on the basis of a correction amount and controlling the thickness of the work 24 at a particular size. The differential value of the actual measured value and the desired reference value of the work thickness is multiplied by a correction factor (STEP 3) to use it as the correction amount and the feed rate of the grinding wheels 17 and 18 is corrected. The correction amount is distributed on the basis of each worn amount of the grinding wheels 17 and 18 (STEP 4) for correcting each feed rate of the grinding wheels 17 and 18.
