PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-quality milk-containing canned drink having a flavor and a taste including good palatability and milky feeling and having a refreshing feeling by using a retorting process. SOLUTION: This method for producing the milk-containing canned drink comprises carrying out a heat treatment by using a retorting processor at a temperature within the range of 130-140 deg.C for 8 min at the maximum or carrying out a heat treatment at a constant temperature within the range of 110-120 deg.C for at least 0.5 min before the above heat treatment.
