LASER LAP WELDING STRUCTURE OF PLATING STEEL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply release evaporating gas of constituent elements produced from plating layers to the outside when welding plating steel plates by a laser lap welding. SOLUTION: An embossment 7 coming in contact with a connecting surface 5a of a lower plating steel plate 5 is formed along a welding line Lw at a predetermined interval on a connecting surface 4a of an upper plating steel plate 4. A gas discharging passage 6 having a predetermined gap distance g is secured between the connecting surfaces 4a and 5a by using the embossment 7. Consequently, production efficiency can be improved without spoiling a welding quality so that the laser lap welding is performed while an appropriate gap distance g is maintained by the embossment 7.
