PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate type ascendable and descendable wheelchair in wheelchair bathing device which a brake means is provided on a large wheel arranged in the rear part of a truck part. SOLUTION: In this separate type ascendable and descendable wheelchair in wheelchair bathing device comprising a seat part 3 for seating a bathing person and the truck part 5 equipped with a lift mechanism E to move the seat pat thereon, and in which only the seat part is carried into a bathtub 10, the large wheel 7 arranged in the rear of the truck part is provided with the brake means B, and the brake means has an operating member C for pressing a brake piece B1 onto the large wheel 7 to constrain it in the rise of the seat part.
