PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of power storage unit by reducing the size of a heat plate. SOLUTION: The power storage unit comprises means TR1, TR2 for bypassing the charging current of a capacitor cell storing the charged power, and a charger P for controlling the charging operation by determining the full-charge of capacitor cells connected in series based on the full-charge voltage thereof, wherein the charging operation of capacitor cell is controlled by detecting the temperature of a heat plate W for the bypass means TR1, TR2 by means of a temperature sensor S. More specifically, a reference value is set and the charging operation is interrupted when the temperature detected through the temperature sensor reaches the set value. Furthermore, a switching is made to slow charging by reducing the charging current and the charging operation is interrupted and an alarm is delivered upon elapse of a predetermined time. First and second reference values are set and the switching is made to slowing on conditions that a first reference value is reached and the charging operation is interrupted on conditions that the second reference value is reached. |
