PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting tool for correcting the deformation of nail and a correcting method using it, which are useful for correcting the deformation of a nail such as rolled nail by a simple method without performing any surgical operation and supporting the natural growth of the nail. SOLUTION: This correcting tool 100 comprises a first correcting body 40 and a second correcting body 46. The first correcting body 40 comprises a first locking part engagingly locked on one lateral edge of the nail A, a first abutment part 26 to abut on the surface of the nail A, and a first connecting hook 44 continuously connected to the first abutment part 26. The second correcting body 46 comprises a second locking part 48 engagingly locked on the other lateral edge of the nail A, a second abutment part 24 to abut on the surface of the nail A, and a second connecting hook part 40 continuously connected to the second abutment part 25. A correcting operation part 56 for pulling up both the edge parts of the nail A in the direction opposite to the deforming direction is arranged between the first connecting hook part 44 and the second connecting hook part 50.
