METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING PREFORM MAT, PREFORM MAT AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a preform mat containing organic fibers without generating the decomposition of a mixture. SOLUTION: With respect to the total weight of a mixture, 50-90 weight % of fibers and/or pellets and 10-50 weight % of a thermosetting resin are mixed. This mixture is kneaded and homogenized to be sent to an extruder having various heating zones to be heated. The highest temperature generated at the outlet of the extruder is set to <120 deg.C so as not to start the curing of the resin in the extruder. The not yet perfectly cured mixture is extruded as a homogenous composition to be sent to a calendering line and pressure is allowed to act on this composition to stabilize the shape of a mat and this mat is subsequently further processed or stored.
