SPRAY QUANTITY CONTROL SYSTEM AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray quantity control method and the device capable of uniformizing the thickness of a sprayed stripping agent even if the speed of a conveyer is changed. SOLUTION: The conveyer 1 is provided with plural conveyer pans 2 and driven by a motor 3. A controller 4 controls the conveyer speed of the conveyer 1 correspondingly to the discharge quantity of molten slag. A spray nozzle 5 is connected to a stripping agent line 6 to spray the stripping agent toward the surface of the conveyer pans 2. The stripping agent line 6 has a pressure control valve 7 and is connected to an air pump 8 at the downstream side. The controller 4 controls also the valve opening of the pressure control valve 7 and the pump 8. The spray quantity of the stripping agent 9 is controlled correspondingly to the conveyer speed by controlling the valve opening correspondingly to the conveyer speed to change the spray pressure of the stripping agent line 6. As a result, a uniform stripping agent layer is formed on the conveyer pans 2.
